Dear Friends of The Academy:

It is time for The Academy of Music’s fall piano sale. This is part of our partnership program with Yamaha Corporation of America and Piano and Organ Warehouse of Virginia Beach. Each fall we receive new pianos from Yamaha to use for concerts, classes, and workshops. After a year, these pianos are offered for sale and replaced with more new pianos by Yamaha. This is a great deal for us: it can be a great deal for you too.

The pianos currently in use will be available for sale December 1 – December 4, at a steep discount from their full retail value. They have been professionally maintained, and most carry a new factory warranty. You may select from uprights, grands, Disklavier player pianos and Yamaha Clavinova digital pianos. Financing and professional delivery are both available.

If you are thinking about buying a piano, here is the sale for you. This wonderful arrangement resolves our problem of having older pianos in constant need of repair or replacement, and allows us to concentrate our financial resources on our scholarship and outreach programs. Meanwhile, we can offer our friends in the community a bargain. As long as this venture is successful, we will continue to receive new pianos each fall.

This is a unique opportunity to fill your home with music, and also support the programs here at The Academy of Music. Please note that the first two days of the sale are by appointment only. Saturday and Sunday are open to the public. Don’t delay; the best bargains go quickly. Make your appointment early – I hope to see you there!
