The Academy of Music is Hampton Roads’ only independent non-profit community music school. The school is fully accredited by the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.

The mission of The Academy of Music is to bring the joys and benefits of learning music to the residents of Hampton Roads, regardless of their ability to pay.

Lessons are offered in Norfolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. See the Directions page for more information.

Office Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is located at 1709 Colley Avenue, Suite 302.
